The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) has shared the official Ohio High School Football Rankings for the year 2023. These rankings are posted every Tuesday during the regular season, and the final rankings come out on the Sunday following Week 11. At that point, 448 schools, which are the top 16 in each region, will qualify for the playoffs. The playoff games will reach their pinnacle at the OHSAA state championship games, which will be held from November 30th to December 2nd at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. Interestingly, this will be the third year in a row that all of the state finals are hosted in Canton.
There are 711 schools in Ohio High School football rankings for 11-player teams. The biggest 72 schools are in Division I, while the rest are split evenly into Divisions II through VII, with about 106 schools in each division. Below, you can see the top 20 schools in each region, categorized by their division and region, along with their records and average points.
